We’re thrilled to welcome Mae Jackson to the Bringing Families Together team! Mae joined us in November 2024 as a Family Development Specialist on our Resource Team, and we’re so glad to have her experience, compassion and positivity supporting our mission.

Mae holds a B.S. degree and brings a strong background in child welfare, including her prior role as a Social Worker serving children with mental health conditions for the Missouri Children’s Division. That kind of heart-centered, hands-on experience makes her an incredible fit for BFT’s work in supporting children and families in the foster care.

When we asked Mae what she loves most about working at BFT, she shared:

“I enjoy being a support system for others and being part of their growth / development journey. Not many things are better than watching someone's life change for the positive.”

As a Family Development Specialist, Mae works closely with prospective foster parents—guiding them, encouraging them and helping them prepare to support children who need safety, love and stability. It’s a vital role on our Resource Team, and Mae does it with heart.

We’re so excited to have Mae as part of our BFT family—and even more excited for the children and families who will benefit from her guidance and care.
