🌟 November Employee of the Month: Daqez Davis

This month, we’re celebrating someone who’s quickly made his mark at Bringing Families Together — Daqez Davis, Family Service Worker on our Case Management Team and our November Employee of the Month! 💜

Although Daqez joined BFT just this past June, he’s already earned the admiration of his peers — and this recognition means even more because our Employee of the Month honors are voted on by team members themselves.

Daqez brings both heart and presence to his work with families. With a background in Behavioral Health and a B.S. in Correctional and Support Services, he approaches every interaction with compassion, accountability, and consistency.

In his own words:

“My favorite thing about serving our children and families is if I keep showing up this often influences others to keep showing up as well.”

That quiet strength — simply showing up, day after day, for the children and families who need him — has become his calling card. It’s a powerful reflection of what makes our Case Management Team thrive: dedication, empathy and the understanding that every small action matters.

Before joining BFT, Daqez spent four years in Behavioral Health, where he honed his skills in connecting with and supporting individuals through challenging times.

He’s also featured in our Men of BFT: The Power of Male Role Models in Foster Care post — where he shared his passion for helping families reunify and providing new opportunities to families in need.

Coming from a big, close-knit family with 11 siblings, Daqez knows firsthand the importance of connection and belonging. That foundation shows in the way he engages with children and parents alike — always leading with respect, patience and sincerity.

And, as anyone who’s met him knows, he’s also known for his sharp style and confidence — even doing a little modeling in his spare time.

Since joining BFT, Daqez has quickly become a trusted, steady presence and a valued member of our team. His compassion and consistency make a difference every single day — not only for the families he serves, but for the colleagues who are proud to work beside him.

We’re thrilled to recognize him this month and celebrate the positive impact he continues to make in such a short time. 💜
