We are thrilled to recognize Angel Crawford as Bringing Families Together’s April Employee of the Month!

Angel has been with BFT since October 2021, and in that time, she has become a vital force behind the success of our Transitional Living Scattered Site (TLSS) Program. As TLSS Coordinator, Angel leads with purpose, compassion, and the kind of lived experience that resonates deeply with the young adults we serve.

What makes Angel stand out? Just ask her peers — she was nominated by fellow team members who see her passion and dedication every day. Whether she’s guiding a youth through a tough moment or working behind the scenes to help expand the TLSS program, Angel does it all with heart.

In her own words:

“Working at BFT is like working with family. I like that staff are celebrated and appreciated throughout the year. I believe I was born to serve others, and I enjoy passing on life experiences with the youth that are in the TLSS Program.”

Under Angel’s leadership, the TLSS program is not only thriving — it’s growing. We’re actively working to expand access to stable housing for even more young adults preparing for independence, and Angel is helping pave the way.

And just when you think Angel couldn’t go above and beyond any further—she did it again! After receiving her Employee of the Month award, Angel cooked a full Easter dinner for the youth in the TLSS program. Her care and dedication go far beyond the day-to-day. From ham and drumsticks to green bean casserole and mac and cheese, every dish was made with love. We can only imagine how special it was to be at that table—just look at this amazing spread!
