At Bringing Families Together, we believe the heart of our work is the incredible team behind it. That’s why every year, we take time to recognize and celebrate the people who give their all to children and families each and every day. This year, we hit it out of the park—literally! On Saturday, June 21, we spent the afternoon at Busch Stadium for our annual Team Appreciation Day, cheering on the St. Louis Cardinals as they took on the Cincinnati Reds.
And what a game it was!
Our team filled a suite with laughter, smiles and all the baseball snacks of your dreams. From hot dogs and nachos to peanuts and popcorn, the spirit was light and the food was classic. But the real highlight? The Cardinals' thrilling 6–5 victory, thanks to a ninth-inning game-tying home run by third baseman Nolan Arenado and a final comeback that had us all on our feet. Talk about a team that knows how to rally—on and off the field!
Much like the Cardinals, our team knows the power of perseverance, collaboration and showing up when it counts. The work we do to support children and families takes heart, dedication and strength. Our team brings all of that—and more—every single day. Taking this time to relax, reconnect and recharge together isn’t just fun; it’s essential. It helps us stay strong, bonded and ready for the meaningful work we’re called to do.
While BFT Team Appreciation Day is a special tradition, we also seek out opportunities throughout the year to thank our team for all they do. Whether it’s a small gesture, a fun activity, or a heartfelt “thank you,” we believe it’s important to show our team how valued they are—not just once a year, but all year long.
We’re so proud of our team’s culture—grounded in care, connection and commitment. Whether we’re at the office or in a stadium suite, this team shows up with purpose and passion.
