Spring Sunshine, Easter Eggs, and Smiles: A Joyful Day with Saint Louis Partners

After what felt like endless rainy days, the skies finally cleared on April 12—and just in time for one of our favorite spring traditions: the 5th Annual Easter Egg Hunt hosted by our friends at Saint Louis Partners (SLP).

Held on a perfectly sunny afternoon, this community event brought together children and families from across the foster care system to enjoy a few hours of play, connection and seasonal celebration. Kids of all ages dashed through the grass in search of colorful eggs, shared laughter with friends old and new, and soaked up the spring sunshine. 🐣💜

As one of the three partner agencies that make up SLP—alongside Good Shepherd Children & Family Services and Lutheran Family and Children’s Services of Missouri—Bringing Families Together was proud to help host the day and spend time with the families we serve.

Of course, no Easter Egg Hunt would be complete without a visit from the Easter Bunny! We loved seeing the excitement on kids’ faces as they posed for photos and showed off their egg hauls. While most of the pictures captured were candid group moments outdoors, they’re a beautiful reflection of the joy and energy that filled the air.

Events like these are more than just fun—they're a chance for families to feel supported, for youth to feel seen, and for our community to come together in a meaningful way. BFT and our amazing team know that building connection is just as important as providing care—and this event was a reminder of how powerful that connection can be.
