Celebrating Excellence: Congratulations to Angelic Goins, Dwight E. Branson Award Winner!

At Bringing Families Together we believe in the power of dedication, compassion, and going above and beyond in our mission of strengthening families and children. This Thanksgiving weekend, we are filled with gratitude for our team, and we are incredibly excited to share that Angelic “Angie” Goins has been honored with the prestigious Dwight E. Branson Award for her outstanding contributions to Missouri children and families!


This recognition is a testament to Angelic’s unwavering commitment to improving the lives of children and families, and we couldn't be more proud of her achievement.


In granting this award, the Missouri Coalition for Children stated that:

"Angelic’s dedication shines through in her work with youth, especially with teens facing challenging paths. Known for her compassion, resilience, and “never give up” spirit, Angelic goes beyond expectations, attending graduations, cheering on sports events, and guiding her clients every step of the way. Her leadership and dedication inspire all who know her!”

We could not agree more! And we loved experiencing Angelic's joy with her in the moment she received this incredible - and greatly deserved - award!




A Journey of Compassion and Dedication

Angelic is a Lead Family Service Worker and provides support for our children, teens and their families. Foster care is a challenging and emotionally demanding field, requiring individuals who are not only professionally skilled, but also deeply compassionate and empathetic. Angelic embodies all of these qualities and more!


During her time with BFT, Angelic has consistently gone above and beyond, providing support, stability and love to children and families in foster care who need it the most. She has been a constant source of strength, cheering on our children and families at every turn. Angelic continues to demonstrate a deep commitment to ensuring every child has the opportunity to thrive.


A Passion for Making a Difference

What sets Angelic apart is not only her expertise but also her genuine passion for supporting youth and families. She approaches each situation with kindness, patience, and an open heart, always willing to go the extra mile to make sure that every child and family receives the care and support they deserve.


Family service workers in foster care, like Angelic, don’t just make a difference in the lives of the children they work with—they change entire families and communities. Angelic's impact is far-reaching, touching the lives of countless children, families and colleagues alike.
