Bringing Families Together and the State of Missouri are moving to update the foster parent training curriculum. The current STARS curriculum is being replaced by MO CARES – an adapted version of the National Training and Development Curriculum. We are excited to bring this new and updated training, focusing heavily on the impact of trauma in the lives of the children we serve.
One of the great advantages of this training curriculum is the implementation of Right Time Training. This training consists of 15 courses located online. They are free, interactive trainings available right when foster parents need them, or have the time to dedicate to training.
These trainings will also count (1 hour per course) as Inservice hours for currently licensed resource families. Check out the free trainings here: https://ntdcportal.org/training-for-families/,
