Carter

When walking around the store with Carter, he will walk aisle to aisle talking about all the things he loves. He enjoys shopping and is beginning to understand the value of money. For his birthday, he asked for a rainbow loom so he could begin making bracelets for his friends. He has grown this into a small business, making bracelets in the colors of his school to sell to classmates and friends. He has begun creating his own budget to save for things he likes!

Carter’s current interests are reading, playing his Nintendo Switch and building Legos! He is an avid reader and enjoys showing off his book collection. His current favorite books are the Warrior’s series and the Chronicles of Vladmir Tod. Carter would spend all day reading if he could, so a family that loves frequent library trips would be a great fit.

Carter also loves challenging his mind by figuring out puzzles and creating new LEGO structures. He will tell you all about the things he has built and how many hours it might have taken. Let Carter loose with some odds and ends craft supplies, and his imagination will go wild. He loves to create! Carter thrives educationally, typically with all A and B grades. He enjoys writing and also does well in all subjects. After a long day, Carter loves to rest and recharge by watching movies or playing video games.

Carter is in the 7th grade (2023-2024 school year). He was born in 2010. All family types will be considered for Carter. He has significant connections to maintain following placement. Financial assistance may be available for adoption-related services. This is a low-risk placement now as termination of parental rights has taken place.
