4      Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with an emphasis in Family and Early Childhood Development from the University of Missouri- Columbia

4      Has been working with children and families since 1988 including:

o        Foster family development

o        Residential Treatment

o        Foster care case management

4      Formed Bringing Families Together in 1999

4      Active member in Missouri’s Coalition of Children’s Agencies

4      Politically active regarding children’s issues, including child abuse/neglect law and formulating best practices in social work 

 

Case Management Services Supervisor-  Angela Hager, M.A.

4      Born and raised in St. Louis, MO

4      Master of Arts in Legal Studies from Webster University

4      Bachelor of Science in Administration of Justice from Culver-Stockton College in Missouri

4      Has been working with children and families since 1987 including:

o        Residential treatment

o        Foster care case management

o        Recruiting, training, licensing foster and adoptive family homes

Case Management Services Supervisor-  Karen Morgan, M.Ed.

4      Born and raised in St. Louis, MO

4      Master Arts in Legal Adult Education

4      Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications/Broadcasting

4      Currently Pursuing Doctorate (Ed.D) in adult Education/Social Work

4      Has been working with children and families since 1992 in the areas of:

o        Foster Care Case Management

o        Advocacy for children in alternative care

o        Resource Family Recruitment, training, and licensing

o        Provides FosterPRIDE/AdoptPRIDE pre-service and in-service

o        Media relations in the area of foster care.

Lori Phillips, B.S.

4      Born and raised in St. Louis, MO

4      Bachelor of Science in Corrections with a minor in Industrial Security from Central Missouri State   University in Warrensburg, MO

4      Has been working with children and families since 1982 including:

o        Independent Living Programs

4      Work experience in Missouri and Rochester, New York

Emily Williams, B.S.W

4      Born in Winter Springs, Fl

4      Bachelor of Science in Social Work from Bethel University in St. Paul, MN

4      Has been working in Social Services since 2004 including:

o        Working with the homeless population in St. Paul, MN

o        Children’s Mental Health Case Manager

o        Adult Mental Health Case Manager on ACT Team

4      Joined Bringing Families Together in June 2007.

 

Sarah Spaffard, B.A.

4      Born and raised in St. Louis, MO

4      Graduated Summa Cum Laude in December 2006 from University of MissouriSt. Louis with a Bachelor degree in Psychology and a minor in Spanish

4      Work and internships include

o        Original research in racial studies and women’s studies

o        1 year internship in counseling

o        Family drug court

4      Joined Bringing Families Together in September 2007.

 

Michael Berry, B.S.

4      Born and raised in St. Louis Missouri

4      Bachelor of Science in Physical Education and Recreational Sports from William Jewel in Liberty, MO

4      2004 was on active duty in Operation Iraqi Freedom for one year

4      Has been working with children and families since 1994:

o        Worked with the state of Missouri with older youth and youth in DYS custody

4      Joined Bringing Families Together initially 2003, then again in July 2008.

 

Adeline Williams, M.S.W.

4      Master of Social Work from Washington University in St. Louis, with an emphasis in Child Welfare

4      Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of California, Berkeley.

4      Has worked in social services including:

o        Working in a residential treatment program for children with severe emotional disturbances in San Leandro, California.

o        Internship with Foster and Adoptive Care Coalition

o        Internship with the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS), working with families involved in the foster care system

4      Joined Bringing Families Together in 2009.

 

Becca Burns, MSW

4      Master of Social Work from Washington University in St. Louis, with an emphasis in Mental Health and Social and Economic Development

4      Bachelor of Applies Science in Human Servics from Washburn University in Topeka, KS.

4      Has worked in social services including:

o        Case manager for children with severe and emotional disturances in Topeka, KS

o        Internship with Catholic Charities Archdiocese of St. Louis

4      Born and raised in East St. Louis, IL

4      Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Truman State University in northeast Missouri

4      Has been working with children and families since 1996 including:

o        Foster care case management

o        Quality assurance

o        Low income families

o        Individuals with serious mental illnesses

o        Foster care and adoption services

Becky Evans, B.A.

4      Born in Iowa and raised in Wisconsin.

4      Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Spanish from Concordia University in River Forest, Illinois.

4      Studied and lived abroad in Spain for nine months.

4      Has been working with children and families since 2002 as:

o        Caseworker with Bringing Families Together previously for 1˝ years.

o        Classroom Counselor at a school for emotionally-disturbed students.
